Activating WIPS for Current Residents

To generate a WIPS Barcode

Using the Manager Role, select Residential > Review Resident. Search for the resident.

Click Data > WIPS Setup. 

The Walk in Payment System Setup screen will appear (see image below).

  1. Use the check box(es) on the left side of the screen to select the resident and/or roommates to generate WIPS Barcodes. Then click Generate WIPS Account Numbers.
  2. Voyager will automatically generate WIPS Barcode for all selected residents. From there, resident will receive an email with instructions on how to make their payment. 
  3. Resident will need to click on the link within the email.

        4. Complete Your Cash Payment screen appears. See sample image below for reference.

    5. Before proceeding, review Payment Amount and Payment Location details as this will determine                        acceptable payment thresholds for each participating retail stores.

Description automatically generated Each location has a maximum allowed Payment Amount per day:

*Service Fee of $3.99 will apply. Residents are responsible for paying this fee to utilize this payment service.

  • Up to $3,000 at Walmart and ACE Cash Express
  • Up to $2,000 at CVS Pharmacy and Casey’s General Store 
  • Up to $1,500 at 7-Eleven

Description automatically generatedTo select a different retail location for payment, click Find a Store to browse other locations. Enter ZIP Code > Search > Select another option.

Resident will have 2 options on how they wish to receive their WIPS barcode.

Option #1 – To receive a Barcode sent to their email or mobile number follow these steps below.

  1. Resident must enter in a valid email or mobile number.
  2. Prior to sending barcode to email or mobile number, review Payment Amount and Payment Location. If Amount or Location needs to be changed, follow the above instructions.

Option #2 – Print Instructions 

  1. Barcodes to all participating retail stores will be listed on the Print screen. 
  2. The Payment Amount thresholds will not appear when selecting this option. See above instructions on Payment Amounts.
